Terms of Service

Effective date: August 3, 2026

Acceptance of these terms

By accessing or using My Bail Helper — browsing the site, creating an account, applying to advertise, or purchasing an ad segment — you agree to these Terms of Service and to our Privacy Policy and Legal Disclaimer. If you do not agree, do not use the site.

Account eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter a contract. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information — including business name, legal entity name, licensed state, and license or NPN number where applicable — and to keep it up to date. You are responsible for the security of your credentials and for all activity under your account.

What the service is

My Bail Helper is an advertising platform and information directory for the bail industry. We are not a bail bond agency, insurance producer, law firm, jail, court, or government agency, and nothing here is legal advice. The full description of what we are and are not is in our Legal Disclaimer, which is part of these terms.

Advertiser obligations

If you purchase or run an ad, the advertiser terms below apply in full and are part of this agreement:

Paid placements only. Every ad slot on My Bail Helper is a paid advertisement. We do not accept free listings, barter, trades, or "featured partner" arrangements. Placement is scheduled in 30-second segments — no advertiser can purchase permanent top placement.

Reviewed businesses only. All advertisers are reviewed by My Bail Helper before an ad can go live. Bail bond agents require a manual license review; other categories are reviewed and approved on submission. We reserve the right to remove any ad at any time, without refund of the unused portion of the paid term.

Independence. Advertisers are independent third-party businesses. My Bail Helper does not employ, endorse, license, supervise, or guarantee the services, pricing, availability, legality, or conduct of any advertiser. Inclusion of an ad is not a referral, recommendation, or attorney/agent-client relationship. Consumers are responsible for independently verifying licensing, credentials, insurance, and terms before engaging any advertiser.

Content responsibility. Advertisers are solely responsible for the accuracy and legality of their ad content, including compliance with state bail, legal advertising, towing, DV/shelter outreach, and consumer-protection rules in every state they target. Ads that are misleading, unlawful, or violate platform policy may be rejected or removed at our sole discretion without refund.

No legal advice. Nothing on My Bail Helper — including any advertisement — constitutes legal advice. If you need legal advice, consult a licensed attorney in your jurisdiction.

Use at your own risk. Bail rules, jail contact details, premium caps, and fees change frequently. Everything published here is a good-faith guideline, not a guarantee. Always confirm details directly with the jail, court, or a licensed agent before acting.

By submitting payment for an ad slot, the advertiser agrees to these terms.

Advertisers must also complete the required advertising-rules acknowledgment for their state and business category before an ad can be posted or purchased.

Payment terms

Purchases are for the specific ad segment, Power Block, or verified package described at checkout, at the price shown at the time of purchase. Payments are processed by Stripe; we do not handle your card details. Airtime is scheduled to the segments you select and is subject to availability at the time payment completes.

Consistent with the advertiser terms above, ads that are rejected or removed for violating platform policy, state advertising rules, or law are not refunded for the unused portion of the paid term. Verified packages, including any bonus days or segments, expire on their stated end date and have no cash value.

Sales tax

All prices are stated in U.S. dollars and are exclusive of any sales, use, or similar tax. My Bail Helper sells advertising placement — airtime for your own video ad — and treats it as a nontaxable advertising service. We do not currently collect state or local sales tax on ad purchases, and no tax is added at checkout.

You are responsible for any tax that a taxing authority later determines applies to your purchase. If the taxability of these services changes, or if we become required to register and collect in a jurisdiction, we will begin collecting tax on future purchases and the prices shown may change on notice. Nothing here is tax advice — consult your own accountant about how these charges should be treated on your return.

We collect and retain a billing address for every purchase so each sale can be substantiated. If you are buying for resale or believe an exemption applies to your account, email admin@mybailhelper.com before purchasing.

Prohibited conduct

  • Submitting misleading, deceptive, or unsubstantiated advertising claims, including false licensing, pricing, or availability claims.
  • Posting unlawful content, or content that violates a state's advertising rules.
  • Attempting to bypass, automate, falsify, or otherwise defeat the compliance acknowledgment gate, license review, or payment flow.
  • Impersonating another business or agent, or advertising on behalf of a business without authority.
  • Scraping, probing, overloading, or attempting unauthorized access to the site, its database, other accounts, or uploaded creatives.
  • Using the site to harass, defraud, or exploit people in custody or their families.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate an account, reject an application, or remove any ad or creative at any time, with or without notice, for violation of these terms, of state advertising rules, or of law — or where we reasonably believe removal is necessary to protect users or the platform. Removal for violations does not entitle you to a refund of the unused portion of a paid term. You may close your account at any time by emailing us.

Limitation of liability

The limitation of liability, "as is" accuracy terms, and advertiser-independence terms set out in our Legal Disclaimer apply to these terms in full and are not repeated here.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Mexico, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Platform operations are conducted primarily from North Carolina, and nothing here waives any mandatory consumer-protection rights you may have under the law of your own state.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the platform develops. Updates take effect when posted, and the effective date at the top of this page will change. Continuing to use the site after an update means you accept the revised terms.
